The Research Group "Materiales de Construcción de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid" has as objective the characterization of the mechanic properties of structural materials and its relation with the microstructure, the simulation of this properties with finite element codes and its application in structural elements in the Civil Industry.

To accomplish this work, investigators of the Research Group have different facilities available. It is to be mentioned the Mechanical Testing Laboratory, Computational Analysis Laboratory and Auxiliary Services.
